The undergraduate program in Physics - Bachelor Degree aims to graduate teachers and researchers in Physics, which is understood as the area of knowledge that investigates the main principles that determine the universe structure and the relation between matter and energy.

Bachelors of Physics may work according to the general and fundamental principles of Physics in its classical and modern fields; make use of Mathematics as a language to express the natural phenomena; use Informatics in the solution of computer-based issues; have a knowledge about laboratories instruments and the application of data analysis techniques; develop and apply physical models; organize and do experiments, considering the expiration limits of the results; and teach Physics in its theoretical and experimental ways, at the different levels of learning and social spheres.
Professional profile
Professionals in this area are able to present scientific results in its different ways of oral and written expression; recognize the relation between Physics and other education fields, working as a team with professionals from other subject areas; and develop ethics in professional performance and a social commitment on building a scientifically educated society.
