ADMISSIONS

Admissions into the undergraduate degree programs at FURG are open mainly through SiSU (“Unified Selection System”). Around 2,600 students are admitted every year, of which 50% are those who have fully attended public schools in secondary education. Also, admissions may be received through PSVO (“Admissions to Vacant Places”), which offers places in modalities for students who want to change, get transferred or return to programs, and also for degree holders. In addition, there is the “Call for Complementary Admissions” and the “Specific Admission Processes” for admissions of indigenous and quilombola students, as well as for the teaching degree program in Rural Education – Emphasis in Nature Sciences and Agricultural Sciences.
