The undergraduate program in Physical Education aims to graduate professionals of Physical Education, considering as a fundamental basis the inseparability among teaching, research and extension in the search of the complexity in this profession, the production of knowledge and the reflection about social praxis associated with the culture of human movements. In addition, the course proposes a theoretical basis in order to widen the understanding of bodily practices; the encounter with different fields of the degree program; the reflection about the importance of body culture as an element in the citizenship construction; and the enhancement of the professionals who work with the human body movement.
