Aimed to carry out activities at the graduate level addressed to physicians, in the form of specialization program, characterized by in-service training. Programs are governed by the specific legislation of National Medical Residency Commission, FURG’s By-laws and Internal Rules of Procedures, University Hospital Dr. Miguel Riet Corrêa Júnior’s General Rules, as well as the regulations contained in its regiment. Activities are developed in areas recognized and accredited by the National Medical Residency Commission. The University Hospital Dr. Miguel Riet Corrêa Júnior offers medical residency programs in the areas of Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Clinical Medicine, Infectiology, Family and Community Medicine, Neonatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Pediatrics.
